Objective: Ensure the safety, security, and proper maintenance of an IT company's office premises to create a conducive environment for employees and operations.

Responsibilities:
- Safety and security: Regularly inspect the office premises to identify potential safety hazards, fire risks, or security vulnerabilities. Maintain and test fire alarms, extinguishers, and other safety equipment. Collaborate with suppliers to arrange employee training sessions on emergency procedures and evacuation. Coordinate regular maintenance of CCTV cameras and other security equipment. Ensure 24/7 availability for emergency situations.
- Maintenance and repairs: Conduct routine inspections of the building's infrastructure, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and elevators. Address minor repairs within the office premises promptly, ensuring a safe and functional environment. Collaborate with external suppliers to purchase required parts for repairs. Coordinate with the Head of the Back office team to schedule repair activities without disrupting daily operations.
- Health and safety compliance: Stay updated on relevant safety and health regulations and ensure the office complies with them. Arrange safety training programs for employees, covering areas like emergency procedures, fire safety, and accident prevention.
- Hazard prevention: Identify hazards related to ergonomics, lighting, or workspace layout and recommend improvements. Collaborate with the Head of the Back office to address any health-related concerns employees raise.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, maintenance activities, and incidents. Document any changes or updates made to safety procedures or maintenance schedules.
- Reporting: Regularly report to the Back office management on safety and maintenance status, highlighting any concerns, improvements, or ongoing projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Back office team to coordinate maintenance schedules and facility improvements. Liaise with external contractors and service providers to ensure quality services and timely repairs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Relevant experience in safety management, facility maintenance, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
- Basic understanding of building systems such as electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Relevant certifications or training in safety and maintenance is a plus.
